Bella Coola Fruit & Herb Tea
We formulated this blend to accommodate tastes of people who wanted to experience a refreshing healthy new style drink without caffeine. What we got was a terrific tea that is unbelievably delicious and enjoyed Hot or Cold! This tea has a very exotic flavor profile. The delicious blend of orange and pineapple flavors combined with the natural flavors and tartness of the various dried fruits create a summertime cooler or a winter time summer reminder. On the west coast of Canada in the province of British Columbia, there is a small Haida village at the end of a long fiord called Bella Coola. The water is crystal clear, the mountains rise to the sky from the waters edge, fishing boats head west towards the Pacific Ocean and bald eagles soar overhead screaming at those that dare to disrupt the tranquility. One bright cloudless day sitting at the town wharf contemplating life looking at the beauty and eating an orange popsicle I realized that this was probably the most tasty popsicle I had ever had in my life. The taste of Bella Coola is exactly like that popsicle - the best herbal tea you will ever taste! For a summer time drink Bella Coola iced is hard to beat. It is refreshing and thirst quenching and not overly sweet. For formal times garnish the glass with a strawberry and a sprig of mint - for non formal times pour it into your glass and enjoy it gulp after gulp! If you have small children use the Bella Coola tea to make popsicles - they taste great and contain very little sugar. By virtue of the fact that these blends do not contain any tea and are a special blend of fruits and herbs - they are caffeine free!. An additional benefit is that these teas contain Vitamin C. What could be better - a healthy drink that tastes GREAT! Hot tea brewing method: Place 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of Bella Coola per cup (and add 1 teaspoon for the pot) into the teapot. Pour boiling water into pot and let it steep for 5-7 minutes (or longer - the longer the steeping time to more intense the flavor becomes). Pour into your cup and add sugar to taste. **do not add milk - the milk will curdle due to the ingredients in this blend.. Cold tea brewing method: Do Not Pour Hot Liquid directly into a Glass Pitcher (makes 1 quart/liter)- Put 12-15 teaspoons of Bella Coola into a heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5-7 minutes or longer. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into the pitcher straining the ingredients. Add ice and top-up with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.

Blueberry Black Tea
Intoxicating blueberry aroma and sprightly full flavor of the tiny wild blueberry. Excellent hot or cold. As an iced tea serve with a pinch of sugar.

Cherry Almond Black Tea
The mixture of Almonds and Cherries is one of Europe's best loved flavor combinations. In the Ukraine, cherries are added as a filling to almond pastry, a Ukrainian favorite, and then baked to make cherry almond pastries. In the more northerly Scandinavian countries, almonds and cherries make up one of the most popular varieties of muesli, which is often eaten as a breakfast cereal or baked into a delicious and hearty bread. In Germany, cherry almond cheesecake has long been a favorite. This blended tea based on our high grown Ceylon, and true to its European roots, is a real treat. The flavor profile of freshly plucked cherries adds a pleasant sweetness to the nutty character of almond and the astringency of the tea. This is one of our favorite dessert teas. Brew a pot, pour a cup, and remember the old country!

Crime of Passion Green Tea
Memories of the Copacabana Beach in Rio. Papaya pieces, sunflower petals and criminally exotic passion fruit notes infuse superior green tea. The blend has as its base a Sencha style green tea manufactured in Hunan Province in South Eastern China. Interestingly, green and black teas can be produced from the same plants. Green tea is produced by forgoing the fermentation process required to produce black tea. Instead, the leaves are steamed as soon as they are plucked, and then bruised either by machine or by hand. The leaves are then pan-fried or basket fired - a process that gives the tea its distinctive glossy look and feel. Sencha green teas typically have dark green, needle shaped leaves and produce a pale green to yellow, very bright, smooth cup with a sweetish, honey like finish. The natural sweetness of this green tea makes it perfectly suited for blending with our dried Papaya pieces and natural passion fruit flavorings. Brew a pot today and be transported to the sultry Copacabana. Incidentally, this is one tea that can't be beat over ice!

Monks Blend Black Tea
Medium bodied and flavoury with piquant Ceylon character. Blended with natural flavor oils of vanilla and grenadine which impart a smooth and unique heavenly flavor. Hot tea brewing method: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Even though milk and a dash of sugar help enhance the flavor character on this tea, it is perfectly acceptable to consume this tea straight-up. Iced tea brewing method: (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. [A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water]. Please note that this tea may tend to go cloudy or milky when poured over ice; a perfectly normal characteristic of some high quality black teas and nothing to worry about!

Pina Colada Black Tea
Slightly sweet infusion captures the blended flavors of coconut, pineapples, cream, and rum. Great with a dash of sugar and fabulous over ice. It has been said that you are never really on vacation until you have a Piņa Colada in your hands. This delicious Caribbean drink that combines the flavors of coconut, pineapple, fresh cream, and rum is truly one of the worlds most refreshing. The Piņa Colada was invented in 1954 by Ramon "Monchito" Marrero in Puerto Rico. The bartender wanted to create a drink that captured all the flavors of his beloved island in one glass. His drink was such a hit that in 1978 Puerto Rico declared the Piņa Colada its national drink. Since that first pour in 1954 it is estimated that over 200 million Piņa Coladas have been served worldwide! We are not sure how many cups of this tea have been served yet, but we are certain that once you brew a pot youll be adding many numbers to the list! Sweet and creamy, this tea, like its namesake, is great over ice.
